The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep web development expertise including WordPress, JavaScript frameworks, a passion for performance optimization, and a commitment to fostering innovation and best practices.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">YOUR CHALLENGE: </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of developers from various geographical locations, ensuring technical excellence and professional growth.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with other leads and platform engineering to direct the architecture and technical roadmap for all our sites.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide daily guidance and support to team members across various geographical locations with varying skill levels.</span></li>\n<li><span>Oversee the maintenance, updates, and enhancements of a portfolio of websites.</span></li>\n<li><span>Manage the full development lifecycle under the direction of the Web Development Manager. Stage and conduct releases to production ensuring.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with the development team to refine stories &amp; requirements into tasks that improve the platform</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with Lead Architect to ensure the web development architecture evolves with the business directions and best practises</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct in-depth technical analysis to improve the technical stack</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct comprehensive code reviews to uphold high standards of quality, efficiency, and security.</span></li>\n<li><span>Stay updated on emerging WordPress technologies and industry trends to integrate innovative practices.</span></li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Proven experience leading projects from a technical point of view</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong expertise in performance tuning and website optimization.</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with SEO practices, particularly improving Core Web Vitals.</span></li>\n<li><span>Advocate for AI-augmented workflows and utilizing intelligent tooling to streamline day-to-day processes</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiar with Wordpress ecosystem</span></li>\n<li><span>Expertise with version control systems (git).</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid understanding of caching strategies and CDNs </span></li>\n<li><span>Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage project technicalities and collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with Agile or Scrum frameworks.</span></li>\n<li><span>Expertise in infrastructure platforms such as Cloudflare, AWS, and other hosting solutions would be considered an asset</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>",
