What you'll do (this is an active manager role) Coach the team every day. Walk-arounds, role-plays, one-on-ones, objection handling, product knowledge — you develop your reps and raise their close rate. Desk deals. Step in to touch desk with sales reps, work save-a-deals, and show your team how it's done. Manage inventory. Know your pipeline cold. Follow up, hold the team accountable to their tasks, and make sure no opportunity slips through. Call customers. Make the calls — sold, unsold, service-to-sales, be-backs. Lead from the front on the phones. Own the numbers. Track and report on volume, gross, close rate, appointment set/show, and CSI. Know where you are every day, not just at month-end.
