This is a fantastic opportunity for a geospatial professional to play a strategic role in <br>shaping UAV operations, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high<br>quality survey projects. You will oversee all stages of UAV projects, from planning to <br>completion, while managing a dedicated team of UAV operators and data processors. </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span> </p>\n<p><br>Project Planning &amp; Execution  <br>• Plan, schedule, and deliver UAV survey projects in line with client requirements,  <br>budgets, and timelines.  <br>• Manage UAV resources including equipment, personnel, and software.  <br>• Ensure quality and safety standards are met across all projects.  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Team Leadership &amp; Development  <br>• Lead, train, and mentor UAV operators and data analysts.  <br>• Promote a strong safety culture and apply lessons learned from incidents.  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Technology &amp; Innovation  <br>• Keep up to date with UAV technologies, sensors, and processing software.  <br>• Advise on platform and sensor selection for projects.  <br>• Review and optimise workflows to improve efficiency and outputs.  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Client Relationship Management  <br>• Build and maintain trust with clients through technical expertise.  <br>• Ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and align with Murphy  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Geospatial’s vision and values.  <br>• Support and implement the “Geo-Cert” platform.  <br>• Provide guidance on geospatial best practice and methodology.  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Business Development  <br>• Identify and pursue new UAV project opportunities to expand service offerings.  <br>• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to secure and  <br>grow business.  <br>• Contribute to the development of proposals, tenders, and marketing initiatives  <br>for UAV services.  <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Strategic Growth  <br>• Discover and implement innovative technologies for competitive advantage.  <br>• Foster partnerships and initiatives to position Murphy Geospatial as a market  <br>leader in UAV deliverables. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Bring </span><br>• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar.  <br>• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the geospatial/surveying industry.  <br>• Current CAA GVC certification and recent UAV flying hours  <br>• Detailed understanding of UAV software platforms, such as planning, flying and  <br>• processing packages  <br>• Proven UAV project management experience, including client engagement.  <br>• Strong knowledge of UAV technology, sensors, and processing software.  <br>• Extensive commercial UAV flying experience  <br>• Experience working with National Highways and Network Rail  <br>• Full clean UK manual driving licence.  <br>• Willingness to travel to project sites.  <br>• Right to work in the UK.  <br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.  <br>• Membership to appropriate institution (Desirable) <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Attributes </span><br>• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.  <br>• Passionate about the UAV/geospatial industry.  <br>• Self-motivated, innovative, and technically aware.  <br>• Strong time and priority management skills.  <br>• Excellent leadership and communication skills.  <br>• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  <br>• Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets and deadlines. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits You Will Love </span><br>At Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative <br>team where your expertise makes a real impact.
