Site-Superintendents will be responsible for supervising and scheduling all construction activities at local job sites; this includes directing Foremen, making sure jobs are being completed on time and on budget, and ensuring quality and safety requirements are being met. </span>The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Five Key Roles of the Site-Superintendent:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Communicate daily production goals to field teams and hold the Foremen accountable to achieve daily goals.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Review, validate, and hold the Foremen accountable for the completion of daily timesheets, accurate cost coding, and daily logs on all projects.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Confirm field adherence to the scope of work ensuring no additional T&amp;M and/or change order work is started without written authorization from the client and approval from PM Team.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Validate that all take-off quantities for accuracy and that materials, manpower, and equipment are secured according to the project schedule.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Review project weekly financial performance with PM and General Superintendent to ensure the budget is on track.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Lead and manage multiple crews to ensure that production rates are achieved in line with the budget.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Attend client project meetings and negotiate the timing of change requests in cooperation with the PM team.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Ensure all equipment, forms, shoring, etc. is removed from the site to optimize usage and control project costs.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Validate that F&amp;B standard means and methods are used to ensure all quality targets are achieved.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Validate Grades and evaluations are accurate.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Maintain a rolling 4-week look ahead for manpower needs on all assigned projects.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Daily communication with PM on job progress and identifying any issues that require resolution.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Pour card validation.</span></li>\n<li><span>Validate Miss Dig/811/One Call has been completed for all projects.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Validating equipment utilization and driving optimization when feasible.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Validate all punch list items are completed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Communicate with owners and owner’s representatives on a consistent basis.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Resolve conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Instruct and enforce field staff on the processes, policies, and procedures essential to the project.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Ensure job clean-up and demobilization tasks are finished once work is completed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Understand and apply the Company’s labor relations policies.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other relevant tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Education, Experience &amp; Qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>At least five (5) years in concrete or heavy civil construction.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely in a positive manner with team members.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Travel:</em></span></p>\n<p><span>Travel is required for this position. Travel may include, but is not limited to, travel from office to various job sites. Fessler and Bowman will compensate for travel when applicable.</span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Work Environment:</em></span></p>\n<p><span>As a Site-Superintendent, you will be subject to various work environments.
