    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>As dedicated resources within each operating group (Transportation, Industrial, Building, and Renewables), proposal specialists support Sundt's efforts to win work by creating winning pursuit deliverables.<br>Working alongside pursuit leaders and business development personnel, proposal specialists create best-in­ class proposals and presentations. This person will be highly motivated, have strong organizational and proven proposal skills, and strong industry knowledge.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Actively participates in quality control process, including performing research or information-gathering as required to resolve issues, and supports efficiencies to improve the overall pursuit process.<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains and reinforces standards set forth in Sundt's Brand Guidelines, Style Guide, Pursuit Process Guidelines, etc.<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provides overall management of each assigned deliverable's design and production process with responsibility for quality, scheduling, and on-time delivery.<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Independently manages the data gathering process, including conducting data-gathering interview of project team members, managing complex project information, and preparing narrative content suitable for distribution.&nbsp;<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assists in supporting proposal manager, pursuit leader and other internal stakeholders through facilitating cross-group collaboration and the resources for process improvement, creating/editing relevant documents in Adobe InDesign<br>6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in the ongoing maintenance of Sundt's CRM database, including data collection, validation, entry and updating, as well as creating and running complex reports and documents. Serves as a subject-matter expert and collaborates with CRM Systems Manager on system improvements.&nbsp;</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Serves as lead coordinator of individual pursuit-related deliverables (i.e., prequalification materials, SQQ/proposals, and presentation materials), with responsibility to write or develop key sections.<br>8.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Works with other pursuit team members to help develop and craft consistent messaging, layouts, and presentations of Sundt themes, as well as building upon win strategies, ideas, skills, and capabilities.</p><p><strong>Minimum Job Requirements</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;1-3 years of marketing/proposal experience in A/E/C industry; 4-7 years for Senior position eligibility.<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Additional professional or technical certifications ideal.<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor of marketing, English, communications, journalism, or similar preferred.<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be a skilled writer and able to effectively communicate highly technical concepts, terms and processes to varying audiences.<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite programs required; knowledge of full Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, and Cosential (or other CRM database) preferred.</p><p>Note: Job Description is subject to change at any time and may include other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.<br>6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.<br>7.&nbsp;&nbsp; Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors</p><p><strong>Safety Level</strong></p><p>Non-Safety Sensitive</p><p>Note: Jobs with the Safety-Sensitive designation are those that include tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others such as operating a vehicle, operating equipment, operating machinery or power tools, repairing/maintaining the operation of any vehicle/equipment, the handling/disposal/transport of hazardous materials, or the handling/treatment/disposal of potentially flammable/combustible materials.</p>",
