We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist (Certified Scrub Tech) that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture. &nbsp;Certification from either NBSTSA or NCCT is acceptable.</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><em>Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an advanced independent healthcare organization led by a local team of professionals dedicated to high quality patient care and being the first choice of patients and providers in the communities we serve.</em></p><p>We are dedicated to hiring team members that will adapt to our culture, prides themselves in professionalism, integrity, transparency, two-way communication, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepares&nbsp;room/equipment based on patient&rsquo;s surgical needs.</li><li>Implements housecleaning tasks for sanitation.</li><li>Pulls appropriate supplies/equipment/instruments for procedure.</li><li>Participates in &ldquo;Time Out&rdquo;.</li><li>Practices team approach in preparation of scheduled cases in working with the circulator assigned to the case.</li><li>Provides physical comfort for patient to include decreased noise level.</li><li>Ensures all supplies are sterile.</li><li>Opens supplies and instruments using aseptic technique.</li><li>Responsible for receiving sterile supplies onto the sterile field.</li><li>Responsible for handling of specimens and other items on the sterile field.</li><li>Responsible for counting of instruments, sponges, sharps, etc.</li><li>Responsible for gowning and gloving of surgeons and assistants.</li><li>Draping utilizing aseptic technique.</li><li>&rdquo;Passing Off&rdquo; of equipment to circulator.</li><li>Moves equipment and tables utilizing sterile technique.</li><li>Assists surgeons as directed.</li><li>Demonstrates surgical conscience by correcting breaks in sterile technique/policing all movement around the sterile field.</li><li>Keep circulator informed of items implanted: size, type and other pertinent information.</li><li>Communicates pertinent information to appropriate personnel such as changes in procedure .necessitating acquisition of extra supplies/instruments in a timely manner.</li><li>Identifies/marks/communicates equipment in need of repair.</li><li>Takes down the operative field.</li><li>Cleans of instruments.</li><li>Removes/disposes soiled gowns/gloves.</li><li>Communicates with SPD regarding restock of specialty sets.</li><li>Facilitates the organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Current BLS Certification</li><li>Current ACLS Certification preferred.</li><li>1-3 years experience required.</li><li>Preferred: Surgical Technologist Certification&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
