Join now!\n\n Job Summary \n\nAetos Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Financial Management expert to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) financial operations, audit readiness, transportation financial management, and data integrity activities. This position requires experience supporting complex financial transaction processing, reporting, system based analysis, and compliance with regulated government processes within a controlled environment.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound financial and systems knowledge, and the ability to work across complex financial and operational data flows to support reporting accuracy, audit readiness, troubleshooting, and overall data integrity.\n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\nSupport financial audit readiness efforts\n\nProcess, analyze, reconcile, and report financial transactions\n\nEnsure financial data integrity across financial, transportation, and operational systems\n\nEnsure compliance with regulated processes, procedures, and internal controls\n\nOrganize, analyze, and manage complex financial and operational data using approved software tools\n\nSupport the review and use of SOC 1 Type 2 reports within a controlled environment\n\nCreate, validate, and support DLA accrual reports\n\nPull and analyze high volume system feed data in support of transportation and payment operations\n\nTroubleshoot data flow, transaction, and payment issues using specialized system access and diagnostic capabilities\n\nProvide insight into financial processes and data flows through specialized user access not available through standard roles\n\nSupport billing processes and general government accounting procedures\n\nAnalyze and support electronic transportation shipment transactions (EDI 858) and FACTS related air clearance and transportation management processes\n\nSupport data integration and transaction flow across transportation, payment, and financial management systems\n\n Requirements\n\nRequired Minimum Education:\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\n\nA Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required:\n\n Financial audit readiness support for a federal or Department of War (DoW) organization\n Processing, analyzing, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions\n Financial data integrity, validation, and reporting\n Applying regulated financial, operational, and internal control processes\n Using software systems and tools to organize, manage, and analyze complex financial and operational data\n Supporting transportation, logistics, or payment related financial operations\n Creating reports, accruals, or other financial management outputs\n Supporting data flows, transaction traceability, and system to system reconciliation\n Working with government accounting processes, billing procedures, or working capital fund activities\n Troubleshooting financial transaction issues, data discrepancies, or payment related problems\n Supporting audit support activities, internal controls, or compliance reviews in a controlled environment\n Working with Microsoft Windows environments and cloud based platforms such as Microsoft Azure\n Supporting high volume operational or financial data environments\n\nRequired Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.:\n\n Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to meet background investigation requirements relevant to the position, consistent with applicable laws.\n Must be willing to comply with pre employment and random drug testing, in accordance with company policy.\n\nPreferred Experience with one or more of the following systems:\n\n Third Party Payment System (TPPS) / U.S. Bank Freight Payment\n Warehouse Management System (WMS)\n Distribution Standard System (DSS)\n Vendor Shipment Module (VSM)\n Global Freight Management (GFM)\n Logistics Tools Suite (LTS)\n Tracker Lite application\n Transportation Global Edit Tablet (TGET)\n Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS)\n Electronic Data Interchange (EDI 858)\n System and Organization Controls (SOC 1, Type 2) reports\n Transportation Account Code (TAC) to Line of Accounting (LOA) translation processes\n DLA accrual reporting\n Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) billing processes\n\n Benefits\n\n What we offer: \n\n Competitive salaries\n Education and professional development assistance\n Multiple healthcare benefit packages & 24/7 virtual on demand doctors’ visits\n 401K\n Civic Leave – time off to support your favorite charity or community\n Paid time off for personal leave and holidays"
