    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Cloud Systems Engineer will play a vital role within the 11:11 Systems Cloud Operations organization and is responsible for supporting an ecosystem of large- and small-scale x86 and Open Systems (Unix/Linux) servers and server clusters, interfacing to a variety of storage and network equipment. With a focus on teamwork, innovation and attention to detail, the engineer will collaborate with various other staff from all levels of the organization and customers alike to help achieve their goals. Typical activities would include providing L3/L4 technical support, performing life cycle management activities, and business impact analysis and infrastructure risk assessment of the various Open Systems service offerings of 11:11 Systems. In addition to supporting the company&#39;s server infrastructure, the Systems Engineer will be an escalation point and mentor to junior level engineers. This role reports to the Sr Director, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide complete ownership and accountability of all responsibilities assigned regarding 11:11 System&rsquo;s cloud and disaster recovery and systems servers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide Technical support with a high degree of customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for provisioning, environmental management, alert monitoring, and trouble resolution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide an escalation point for customer problems, as well as junior level 11:11 Systems staff.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide training and mentoring to junior level 11:11 Systems staff regarding day-to-day operations and technical issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in creation, updating and maintaining existing 11:11 Systems server and compute Infrastructure documentation, according to current standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide accurate, timely and professional responses to escalated customer tickets from support, ensuring a good customer experience&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with other cross functional teams within the organization to shape the future roadmap of server product offerings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in Disaster Recovery test support.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide escalation support for Level 1-3 engineers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow 11:11 Systems best practices for server management.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11&rsquo;s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s or University degree in technical discipline or equivalent years of work experience required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3-5+ years of demonstrated technical, hands-on experience with Open Systems servers required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Certifications as required or requested.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expert level knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems knowledge and operating system management required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive knowledge and experience managing servers and server infrastructure required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive knowledge and experience using server management tools (iLo, vCenter, HMC) required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with backup and disaster recovery concepts and solutions preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced scripting (PowerShell, shell scripting) knowledge a plus.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of routing and switching a plus.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of storage connectivity and storage networking required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services, such as IaaS and DRaaS.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working with global data center environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communicator, high energy, positive attitude, with an aptitude for professional growth.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have leadership qualities, ability to foster a collaborative team approach, and the ability to interact well with front line staff and management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to provide consultation and expert advice on systems related topics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Actual pay is based on multiple factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and location.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Individuals may also be eligible for variable incentives such as bonuses or sales commissions, which are also based on level and position within the organization.
