          "text": "<p>The Department of Nursing at Augsburg University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach classroom and clinical courses in our DNP - Family Nurse Practitioner program. These courses are taught both on campus and in the clinical setting.&#xa0;</p><p>The openings are for three different position focuses:</p><ul><li>Teaching didactic courses in a hybrid format, such as advanced pharmacology, integrative primary care, and advanced pathophysiology.</li><li>Mentoring and advising students in their DNP scholarly projects.</li><li>Teaching clinical courses, focusing on site visits and an opportunity to precept students in the clinical setting.</li></ul><p>In addition to teaching online and face-to-face courses and evaluating student competency, instructors are expected to respond to student questions through email and support student success.&#xa0;</p><p>Each fall or spring course requires 10-12 hours per week for 15-16 weeks.</p><p><br>\n<strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong><br>\nSubject to the <a href=\"https://go.augsburg.edu/adjunctcba\">collective bargaining agreement with SEIU, Local 284</a></p><ul><li>$5,800 to $6,175 per undergraduate course* for the 2025-26 academic year</li><li>$6,800 - $6,975 per graduate course* for the 2025-26 academic year</li><li>Eligible for 2-4% retirement contribution match</li><li>Tuition discount for employees and dependents</li><li>Transit pass discount</li><li>Not eligible for healthcare benefits</li></ul><p>This posting is for a pool of instructors. Applicants will be reviewed when there is an opening.&#xa0;</p><p>*Course refers to a typical 4-credit undergraduate or 3-credit graduate course that has met minimum enrollment requirements. DNP reader appointments are not included in the collective bargaining agreement and are compensated at different rates.</p><p><em>Please note that due to employment law and payroll regulations, we can only employ adjunct faculty who reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
