Description

The Texas General Land Office is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Programmer IV) within the Information Technology Services Department of the agency. Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming and application development work for the Information Technology Services (ITS) division. The Programmer IV partners closely with Systems Analysts, product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into secure, maintainable, and effective software solutions while ensuring alignment with architectural, security, and operational standards. Operating as a hands-on senior contributor, the Programmer IV serves as a technical resource for application design, development, and integration efforts.
