With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Machine Operator has the qualifications and business acumen to provide support by setting up and monitoring the rewinder machine to ensure efficient production.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Make the proper precautions to perform work responsibilities in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Arrive on time, prepared, and motivated to contribute.</li>\n <li>Perform winder operation support responsibilities independent of supervision.</li>\n <li>Work alongside winder operators to uphold Magnera’s quality standards.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot issues with the wrapper and conveyor and communicate them clearly with the maintenance team.</li>\n <li>Train others in the proper protocols and procedures.</li>\n <li>Use a forklift safely as needed to perform job duties.</li>\n <li>Use a crane safely as needed to perform job duties.</li>\n <li>Properly set cores and operate the core puller.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate the ability to uphold Magnera quality standards by performing metal sweeps, sweeping dust, removing waste, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist during the start-up of the paper machine by ensuring the start-up cart has a roll and is in proper position and help feed paper through the pope.</li>\n <li>Assist with other positions (bico, hammermill, or operations material handler) as needed.</li>\n <li>Assist with monthly Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO) shutdowns.</li>\n <li>Participate in product changeovers.</li>\n <li>Perform additional tasks directed by Winder Operators, Shift Supervisor, Driver, or Management.</li>\n <li>Use OptiVision to perform job functions such as scanning rolls, entering weight, and printing labels.</li>\n <li>Abide by all Magnera Mount Holly standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>3 years manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous forklift operation preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and take units of measurements for weight, volume, distance, etc.</li>\n <li>Competent in computer abilities.</li>\n <li>Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts following a 14 day pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and then 3 off.</li>\n <li>Physical ability to regularly bend over and lift 40 pounds and push/pull up to 1000 pound cylindrical paper rolls.</li>\n <li>Physical ability to stand for the majority of the 12-hour shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#MO07302025</p>",
