Our offerings include commercial MEP solutions, sheet metal construction, preventive maintenance and service, building automation, energy management, and more.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Air Systems is looking for an <strong>Engineering Intern</strong> for our <strong>Building Automation Systems (BAS)</strong> Department in San Jose, CA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule: 40 hours/week, M-F</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#airsys</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Help apply HVAC, electrical, building automation and energy efficiency best known methods and theory to design building automation systems using both ALC and Distech controls</li>\n <li>Survey project sites</li>\n <li>Review MEP design documents and generate RFIs</li>\n <li>Help create BMS design drawings and submittals</li>\n <li>Support material procurement</li>\n <li>Support installation team, technicians, and project managers</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</li>\n <li>Strong interest in HVAC systems. </li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software is a plus.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and eager to learn about construction processes and HVAC systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>On-site employee gym and EV plugs and/or bike commuter benefits.</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional growth through career development programs.</li>\n <li>A flexible work environment and culture that prioritizes team collaboration, work-life balance, and personal well-being.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Why Air Systems?</strong></h2>\n<p>At Air Systems, we believe in fostering an environment of growth, integrity, and respect.
