Work today, get paid today!</li>\n <li>Monthly Celebrations and recognitions</li>\n <li>Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance </li>\n <li>$5,000 Tuition Reimbursement Per Year </li>\n <li>Quarterly Education Bonus Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The QMA is responsible for providing the medication administration, daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The QMA is responsible for providing the medication administration, daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.</li>\n <li>QMA’s administer and document oral medications, eye medications, topical medications, suppository medications, ear drops and all others as ordered by the physician</li>\n <li>Perform treatments on minor skin conditions per physician orders</li>\n <li>Maintain locked medication cart and medication keys according to facility policy</li>\n <li>Check catheters frequently and providing catheter care as assigned by the nurse</li>\n <li>QMA’s will document all medications and treatments given in the medication record and in the nurses notes according to policy</li>\n <li>Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights and privacy are protected at all times</li>\n <li>Performing other duties as assigned by staff nurse or designee</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>IND123</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be certified by the Indiana State Department of Health as a CNA in good standing</li>\n <li>Must have completed a state approved training program in medication administration and have current QMA certification by the Indiana State Department of Health</li>\n <li>Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of Indiana</li>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>",
