Title: Graduate Assistant for Alumni Relations & Advancement
Position Type: Graduate Assistant - Registered Students ONLY
Reports To: Director of Alumni Relations
Employment Status: Part Time /10 hours per week
Hours: As arranged

JOB SUMMARY
This assistantship will allow the student to learn about fundraising in higher education as well as the daily operation of an alumni office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with alumni events; focus on Alumni-Student Speed Networking Night Make phone calls to alumni and donors to maintain strong relationships with the college Help manage alumni files and donor records Other office tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in a relevant field such as counseling and education. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational environments.
