    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<h2><strong>MRB Design Engineer – VI</strong><strong>Location: </strong>Wichita, KS On-site (Office-Based Role)</h2>\n<p>💰 <strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $90.00+/hour💰 <strong>Sign-On Bonus:</strong> $3,000 (after 90 days of successful employment)🎯 <strong>Retention Bonus:</strong> $5,000 after 12 months of employment</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Expleo Group USA is seeking a Senior Consultant-level<strong> MRB Design Engineer</strong> (Level 6) to provide<strong> </strong>industry-leading technical expertise, innovation, and strategic engineering leadership across aerospace manufacturing programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an office-based role centered on advanced MRB engineering evaluation, where you will apply cutting-edge engineering principles, independent judgment, and deep technical knowledge to solve the most complex and critical nonconformance challenges.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is suited to a recognized industry expert who influences technology direction, organisational strategy, and long-term engineering capability.</p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead resolution of highly complex, unprecedented MRB nonconformances requiring advanced and innovative solutions</li>\n <li>Develop and implement new engineering concepts, repair methodologies, and technical standards</li>\n <li>Apply advanced scientific principles and engineering theory to improve aircraft structural repair solutions</li>\n <li>Define and drive long-term technical strategies and engineering capability development</li>\n <li>Act independently to identify and resolve systemic engineering and program-level challenges</li>\n <li>Serve as primary technical spokesperson with customers, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership</li>\n <li>Advise executive leadership on technology strategy, risk, and future engineering direction</li>\n <li>Lead cross-functional and cross-organisational technical initiatives</li>\n <li>Influence business growth opportunities through technical excellence and innovation</li>\n <li>Mentor senior engineers and shape technical succession and organisational capability</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What This Role Is</h2>\n<p>✔ Industry-leading technical authority role✔ Innovation-driven engineering leadership✔ Strategic contributor to long-term business and technology direction</p>\n<h2>What This Role Is Not</h2>\n<p>✖ Operational or delivery-focused engineering role✖ Routine MRB disposition work✖ Mid- or senior-level engineering position</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (ABET-accredited preferred)</li>\n <li>20+ years of aerospace/MRB engineering experience</li>\n <li>Recognized industry expert in MRB, structural engineering, and airworthiness</li>\n <li>Extensive experience supporting major OEM programs (e.g., Boeing 737/787 or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop advanced engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of metallic and composite structures</li>\n <li>Advanced expertise in regulatory frameworks, certification, and compliance (ITAR/EAR awareness)</li>\n <li>Proven track record of influencing technical strategy, innovation, and organisational direction</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Schedules</h2>\n<p>Multiple schedules available:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Day, night, and weekend shifts (aligned to programme needs)</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Three thousand dollars sign-on bonus after 90 days of successful employment Competitive hourly rate ($90+ based on experience and expertise)</li>\n <li>Five thousand dollars retention bonus after 12 months of employment</li>\n <li>3 weeks (15 days) of paid time off and paid holidays</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) with company match</li>\n <li>Stable, office-based work environment</li>\n <li>Long-term role with retention incentive</li>\n <li>Supportive, collaborative engineering culture</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Expleo</h2>\n<p>Expleo is a global engineering, technology, and consulting service provider with 18,000 employees in over 30 countries.
