Primary work is supporting a federal government customer locally</span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Security Technician</span>, you will:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Conduct maintenance and service work of existing Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems include, but not limited to: Softwarehouse Ccure9000, Vindicator, FiberSensys, Protech Gfence, Lenel, and Bosch BVMS security software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">May installs security devices and infrastructure at times in accordance with installation plan according to the national electric code, company and customer guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Assists with security system programming and setup.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Conducts testing of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">May help prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions from supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Conduct End-User training.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Performs other duties as required</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">High School diploma or equivalent</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Experience installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and/or repairing of commercial or industrial integrated / electronic security systems for low voltage intrusion, access control, CCTV and digital recording systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Capable of using hand and power tools to properly mount and secure equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Works well unsupervised and also as part of a team environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances for projects being supported (background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit checks).
