See&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.whedco.org/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.whedco.org</a>&nbsp;for more information.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><b>Job Summary:</b></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the After-School Program Director and Program Assistants, the Group Leader will supervise a group of school aged students as they participate in all after-school program activities.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Supervise assigned group of 20 to 28 K-8<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;grade students during after-school program hours.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain health and safety protocols at all times during program.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain attendance log for assigned group.</li>\r\n\t<li>Model appropriate participation and engagement during activities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Build healthy relationships with students while maintaining boundaries&nbsp;appropriate boundaries</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain observation and incidents logs for group.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist students with homework during scheduled homework period.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Encourage and lead projects that foster academic, emotional, cultural and artistic growth.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Co-facilitate weekly activities as needed (differs based on grade level assigned).</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Encourage students to positively participate in all after-school programming and activities.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the planning and implementation of special events.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Attend all required staff and planning meetings.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Take on special assignments consistent with the goals and objectives of the after-school program</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to work with any group assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n",
