This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will you be doing?</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will be a key member of the Small Caliber Munitions Division. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Duties include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform 100% visual inspections of loaded cartridges, both loose and in linked belts</li>\n<li>Package ammunition in multiple configurations</li>\n<li>Operate automated equipment for loading, weighing, counting, linking of ammunition</li>\n<li>Work within an inventory tracking system to maintain proper material counts</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Other Duties may include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>May be required in the Loading, Assembly and Packaging of small caliber ammunition.</li>\n<li>May include operating machinery or running equipment.</li>\n<li>The individual shall be able to perform MIL-STD inspection and packaging specifications for live ammunition.</li>\n<li>Candidates shall be able to visually inspect ammunition by hand and look for multiple defects at a time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>This position will require the following skillsets and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acute attention to detail</li>\n<li>Strong vision, corrected or uncorrected</li>\n<li>Ability to sustain repetitive tasks</li>\n<li>Familiarity with firearms and ammunition and plus</li>\n<li>Ability to visually inspect ammunition by hand and identify multiple defects at once</li>\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Possess a high standard for quality and efficiency</li>\n<li>Must be flexible, self-starter and able to work autonomously</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic</li>\n<li>Must be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly</li>\n<li>Understanding of a manufacturing environment</li>\n<li>Must be a US Citizen</li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>Pass drug and alcohol testing</li>\n<li>Must be able to obtain a clearance through the DoD security background investigation process</li>\n<li>Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a physical capacity, standing, with repetitive lifting</li>\n<li>Will be required to handle small arms propellant</li>\n<li>Must be able to take and pass AMMO-45 and AMMO-63 online certifications and appropriate safety training on-the-job</li>\n<li>Past or present military personnel are encouraged to apply</li>\n<li>UTRS has COVID-19 vaccination status requirement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Read about our benefits here: <a href=\"https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.utrs.com%2Four-benefits%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Ckselfridge%40utrs.com%7C47f934c95643425cb9a008dce7d48b3a%7C0a69be4bc2f741aaaef01a021fbaf824%7C1%7C0%7C638640147250945182%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=L54%2F0Uqp5jEUVg95CoBfwNzNqTUGPY%2FjP3Ecw8jcmzg%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Our Benefits - UTRS | </a><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Always, Got Your Back</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>UTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
