Preferred candidates will have experience in preparing and overseeing implementation of sampling and QA/QC processes following Quality Assurance Project Plans for the collection and analysis of water samples. Must have experience with EPA’s data quality objectives, operation of field laboratory analysis of water samples, calibration, maintenance and use of field screening devices/meters. Must be a clear communicator and able to maintain written logs and provide documentation to support project objectives.   </p>\n<p><strong><em>*Please note, remote work is not permitted for this role. This is a </em></strong><strong><em>non‑full‑time</em></strong><strong><em>, deployment‑based</em></strong><strong><em> on-call position across the United States. Team members are deployed to impacted sites as needed and may travel frequently on short notice. Interpret data and evaluate field results.  </li>\n <li>Keep a written log of activities on sampling and analytical results. Prepare written technical reports of sampling, survey, treatability, and analyses. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in chemistry or related field </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of relative experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with field laboratory equipment, calibration, maintenance, and testing of water samples </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in created detailed reports related to water sampling, treatment, and analysis. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communications and client relations skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to work as a team player </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean driving record </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. </p>\n<p>*This position is covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). </p>\n<p>*Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
