    "description": "<h2></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)</strong> with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in <strong>AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, SQL Server, Datadog</strong>, and <strong>Java-based service reliability</strong>.</p>\n<p>You will ensure the <strong>stability, performance, and reliability</strong> of our cloud-native <strong>Hospitality Revenue Management System (RMS) </strong>— a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving hotels globally. </p>\n<p>This role involves deep collaboration with engineering to fix reliability issues in <strong>Java microservices</strong>, build resilient cloud infrastructure, and optimize end-to-end performance of forecasting, rate publishing, and PMS/CRS integrations.</p>\n<p><strong><em>What you’ll be doing...</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Reliability & Platform Resilience</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Define and manage <strong>SLIs/SLOs</strong> for RMS services (latency, availability, job success, data freshness).</li>\n   <li>Improve reliability of <strong>Java-based</strong> microservices by: </li>\n   <ul>\n    <li>Fixing resource leaks, threading issues, timeouts, connection pool exhaustion</li>\n    <li>Improving resilience patterns (retries, backoff, circuit breakers</li>\n    <li>Profiling memory/CPU bottlenecks</li>\n    <li>Resolve performance issues impacting: </li>\n    <li>Forecast generation cycles</li>\n    <li>Rate push APIs</li>\n    <li>PMS/CRS connector API calls. </li>\n    <li><strong>AWS Cloud Engineering</strong>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Operate and optimize AWS services: </li>\n      <ul>\n       <li>EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), S3, CloudFront</li>\n       <li>RDS for SQL Server</li>\n       <li>Lambda, SNS/SQS, API Gateway</li>\n       <li>VPC, Security Groups, NAT, Transit Gateway</li>\n      </ul>\n      <li>Implement <strong>cost optimization</strong> (compute efficiency, right-sizing, egress reduction).</li>\n     </ul></li>\n   </ul>\n   <li><p><strong>Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)</strong></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li>Build, version, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform: </li>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Reusable modules</li>\n      <li>Remote state + state locking</li>\n      <li>Drift management</li>\n      <li>Multi-environment automation</li>\n     </ul>\n     <li>Enforce GitOps principles and automated provisioning.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li><p><strong>Observability & Incident Response (Datadog – Mandatory)</strong></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li>Build end-to-end observability using <strong>Datadog</strong>, including: </li>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Metrics, logs, traces</li>\n      <li>JVM profiling (GC, heap, threads)</li>\n      <li>Datadog APM for Java services</li>\n      <li>Datadog Synthetics for API uptime (PMS, CRS, OTA)</li>\n      <li>Datadog RUM (if applicable)</li>\n     </ul>\n     <li>Configure <strong>SLO-based alerting</strong> to reduce noise and improve signal quality.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>What you’ll bring to us</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>5+ years</strong> in SRE /Production Engineering roles.</li>\n <li>Strong hands-on expertise in <strong>AWS</strong> cloud infrastructure.</li>\n <li><strong>Terraform</strong> experience building production-grade infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of <strong>Java</strong> internals: </li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>Datadog</strong> for observability (APM, metrics, logs, dashboards).</li>\n <li>Strong SQL Server skills (tuning, indexing, query optimization).</li>\n <li>Proficient in scripting (Python/Bash/Go).</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Who we are....</em></strong></p>\n<p>Passionate people.
