In this junior drafting support role, you’ll contribute to the development of infrastructure that supports growing communities while building your technical skills alongside experienced engineers and designers.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Support the preparation of civil engineering drawings for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and utilities</li><li>Assist in developing AutoCAD and Civil 3D models and drawings based on engineering direction</li><li>Contribute to the accuracy and quality of design deliverables through careful drafting and revisions</li><li>Update drawing packages and maintain organized project documentation throughout the design process</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate feedback and refine designs</li><li>Support quantity take-offs and basic design tasks to aid project delivery</li><li>Learn and apply municipal standards, regulations, and best practices in design work</li><li>Contribute to a team culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field</li><li>1–3 years of experience in a drafting or design support role, preferably in municipal infrastructure</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D</li><li>Familiarity with basic civil design concepts such as grading, servicing, and roadworks</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality drawings</li><li>Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop technical skills in a supportive team environment</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Exposure to BC municipal standards or consulting environments is considered an asset</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>Why Choose WSP?
