We seek a candidate that is self-inspired to learn and demonstrates a high degree of customer service while positively contributing to our team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Assembly Technician at Nomad GCS plays a critical role in ensuring the assembly of high-quality products that meet customer expectations. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. The Assembly Technician will work with a variety of tools, equipment, and materials to complete tasks efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of the production team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITY:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow process sheets, create kits, and ensure compliance with Lean manufacturing principles.</li>\n<li>Operate testing equipment such as electrical multimeters, LP leak detectors, high/low voltage meters, and pressure/vacuum testers.</li>\n<li>Cross-train to work on various assembly tasks, including flooring installation, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, HVAC, cabinet and countertop construction, welding, and technology integration.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the team and management to enhance productivity and ensure safety in all operations.</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the department.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering drawings and instructions.</li>\n<li>Adaptability to work across various processes and willingness to cross-train.</li>\n<li>Effective communication and collaboration with team members to meet production goals.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate initiative and a safety-first mindset in all tasks.</li>\n<li>Take on additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BASIC KNOWLEDGE DESIRED:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:\n<ul>\n<li>Cabinet or countertop construction</li>\n<li>General construction or finish carpentry</li>\n<li>HVAC systems</li>\n<li>Plumbing (PVC, PEX)</li>\n<li>Hydraulics</li>\n<li>Automotive experience with trucks</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with operating a wide range of tools including power drills, saws, sanders, hand tools, multimeters, and pneumatic tools.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate understanding and application of Nomad Core Values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Nomad offers a full benefit package including 6 paid holidays and 3 weeks (15 days) of paid personal time off (PTO) for a total of 21 paid days off in your first year.</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> At $21.00/hour your annual income for holiday and PTO time = $3,528.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At $23.00/hour = $3,864.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At $25.00/hour = $4,200.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> PTO increases by 1 day per year up to 4 weeks or 20 days at 5 years.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Nomad also has a 401K plan with a matching contribution from Nomad.
