PGW is dedicated to becoming the Greenest Natural Gas Delivery Company in the region.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Become part of the PGW Team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Field Service Technician Helper </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay - $19.805/hr</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Service Technician's will accompany skilled service personnel in designated areas and work rotating shifts under variable job conditions on a customer’s premise. Will provide physical help as needed on service work and street leak relief.</p>\n<p>Act as contact person for delivery service between outlying stations, and deliver parts and materials to various locations. This position requires a considerable amount of both physical and mental effort; activities and duties may have a direct bearing on the safety of the public.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving history</li>\n <li>A mechanical and/or construction background as a pipe fitter, plumber’s helper or similar work experience;</li>\n <li>Experience in the gas/utilities industry is a plus;</li>\n <li>Experience in providing residential customer service (e.g., carpentry; cable technicians; plumber's helpers) or similar work</li>\n <li>Ability to work in inclement weather; any assigned shift including weekends, night and holidays</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass both manual and computer-based pre-employment testing</li>\n <li>Residential customer service experience or similar work (e.g., hotel/apartment facilities maintenance)</li>\n <li>Communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol tested position</strong>. This position is subject to Federal drug testing requirements <strong>which includes testing for substances including but not limited to marijuana</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer a strong benefit package that includes free basic health and dental insurance.
