You as part of tonies:
We are looking for an IT Project Excellence & ERP Transformation Manager to take on a dual-horizon leadership role within our CIO department. In this position, you will drive our global ERP transformation supported by other project managers or workstream leads. You will establish and run our internal Project Excellence function. In this capacity, you will take on the disciplinary management and mentorship of a lean, dedicated PMO team.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. ERP Transformation Delivery (Primary Focus)
End-to-End Execution: Drive the global SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation, strictly enforcing a "Standard First" (Fit-to-Standard) methodology across Finance, Ops, and Sales.
Roadmap & Risk Management: Own the program roadmap, timeline, budget tracking, and the high-level project risk register.
Partner Governance: Manage the System Integrator contract scope, performance, and daily deliverables.
Cross-Stream Alignment: Coordinate functional design, data migration, technical integrations, and testing phases.
2. CIO Project Excellence & Pipeline Governance
Team Leadership: Formally manage, mentor, and task-steer the internal project manager and associate project manager to deliver high-quality IT PMO support.
Standardize PM Playbooks: Institutionalize lean project standards, documentation templates, and collaborative workflows across the entire CIO unit.
Pipeline & Demand Management: Establish a centralized IT project pipeline to systematically capture, prioritize, and track all incoming tech initiatives and cross-departmental demands.
Portfolio Reporting: Provide regular, transparent, and data-driven status reports to the CIO on overall project health, timelines, and resource bottlenecks.
3. Change Management & Alignment
Consensus Building: Act as a partner to the business, securing alignment across decentralized global business units and navigating natural transformation friction.
What we are looking for:
Experience : 8+ years in IT/Transformation leadership including ERP transformation projects.
ERP Expertise: Preferred full-cycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA using the SAP Activate methodology.
People Management: Direct experience leading small, agile project teams or PMO resources.
Pipeline Track Record : Proven success building or managing an active IT project portfolio pipeline and aligning cross-departmental tech demands.
Resilience: Exceptional capability to operate effectively under pressure and navigate the stress and ambiguity of such an ERP transformation.
Communication: Strong executive-level stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a strong advantage.
