This individual provides oversight to technicians and other analysts in support of the team leadership. This position will work individually and as part of a team to support Incoming Lidar data processing and QC from the field; calibration of lidar data; producing high quality data deliveries to clients. The Technical Specialist has knowledge of all aspects of the Lidar workflow and performs rigorous QA/QC and assists in training of analysts and technicians. and calibrate incoming lidar data</p>\n<p>● Takes ownership of work within the team for execution and QA/QC</p>\n<p>● Produce and Understand Lidar specifications and requirements</p>\n<p>● Create and understand the production of raster products</p>\n<p>● Visually inspect rasters and lidar point clouds</p>\n<p>● Know how to fix and address issues found in QC</p>\n<p>● Produce final deliverables ready to be delivered to the client</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Management Focus</strong></p>\n<p>● Aware of the status of all assigned projects within the team</p>\n<p>● Assists with detailed tracking and evaluation of projects, deadlines, workflow, and tasking</p>\n<p>● Ability to understand project contracts and scope of work</p>\n<p>● Effectively motivates associates across all levels</p>\n<p>● Ability to prioritize projects and tasking within the team</p>\n<p>● Provides direction to associates across all levels</p>\n<p>● Aids in hiring new team members</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical ability with ESRI, Global Mapper, and Cad Programs</p>\n<p>● Ability to understand and run proprietary tools</p>\n<p>● Produces data reports and final deliverables</p>\n<p>● Ability to automate workflows and tasks</p>\n<p>● Takes initiative to improve processes and efficiencies</p>\n<p>● Strong creative aptitude and ability to contribute to the development of the unique methods</p>\n<p>● Can of the team</p>\n<p>○ Assist in process improvement</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<p>● Working knowledge of the Lidar workflow</p>\n<p>● Consistently produces precise and accurate work</p>\n<p>● Maintains excellent data management and file organization practices</p>\n<p>● Develop resolution and accuracy statistical analysis</p>\n<p>● Demonstrates communication and provided program tools</p>\n<p>● Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>● 3+ years of experience in a Lidar production role</p>\n<p>● 2+ years of experience in a leadership role</p>\n<p>● Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience</p>\n<p>● Advanced knowledge of TerraSolid (Lidar), Global Mapper, and ESRI Products</p>\n<p>● Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat</p>\n<p>● Proficiency in remote sensing production workflows</p>\n<p>● Proficiency in creating batch files to run command line tools</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>● Masters or higher</p>\n<p>● Knowledge of Python, CADD, and Visual Basic</p>\n<p>● Proficiency with compression and file transfer software</p>\n<p>● 3+ years’ experience in a technical, professional work environment</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Employment is contingent upon successful
