About the role:

Primarily responsible for providing ad hoc and recurring reports in support of the Global Quality Field Action (FA) process, including recalls, removals, safety alerts, customer notifications and field corrections. This role collaborates directly with divisional partners while providing product traceability and FA expertise to divisions, the FA team and regional FA coordinators. The individual in this position will also identify, recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Execute recurring and ad hoc reporting activities for product inquiry reports (PIRs) and field actions, supporting both internal and external customers.
● Utilize knowledge of Boston Scientific divisions, database entities, data access methodologies, Microsoft Office applications and business-specific systems, including FARS and SAP, to support reporting needs.
● Perform data quality analyses, evaluate findings and recommend system enhancements, business process improvements and data corrections.
● Support execution of approved field action plans, including assisting with delivery of field action communications and retrieval activities.
● Conduct post-action reporting activities and support document archiving and field action closure requirements.
● Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of departmental and corporate field action policies and procedures.
● Manage reporting requests in accordance with established processes and service expectations.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree.
● 2+ years of experience in a related field.
● Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred qualifications:
● Strong organizational and planning skills.
● Strong analytical skills.
● Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
● Strong problem-solving, verbal communication and written communication skills.
● Ability to coordinate and manage activities across multiple groups within a matrixed organization.
● Experience with SAP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint.
● Experience within the medical device industry.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com— will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
