Success is determined by their ability to develop our team members, build strategies to win work, and execute high quality preconstruction services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Need:</strong> A proven leader who has a keen technical knowledge of preconstruction services, construction estimating, and a hard-charging drive to succeed. Experience in the Industrial market, and specifically process and manufacturing, is strongly encouraged and will be considered in our evaluation of the candidate.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with our division leaders to develop and execute strategies to win work.</li>\n <li>Monitor team progress to ensure project deadlines and milestones are met in order to deliver your team’s output consistently on time.</li>\n <li>Grow and develop other team members to achieve project goals and align with future divisional objectives.</li>\n <li>Lead and mentor a team of preconstruction managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.</li>\n <li>Execute effective estimating practices to produce high quality estimates for our projects.</li>\n <li>Produce comprehensive project schedules during the preconstruction phase.</li>\n <li>Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project scopes, plans, and budgets.</li>\n <li>Identify and evaluate project risks, offering solutions to mitigate potential issues.</li>\n <li>Serve as the main point of contact during the preconstruction phase, building and maintaining strong client relationships.</li>\n <li>Assist in business development and work procurement pursuits as required.</li>\n <li>Assist as appropriate in the closing of a sale and final contract negotiations with an owner.</li>\n <li>Assist preconstruction team members in maintaining estimating software, systems, databases, and processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s and 10 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Extensive estimating experience in similar types of construction.</li>\n <li>Advance knowledge of construction concepts and activities.</li>\n <li>Experience in a leadership position with successful, demonstrated results.</li>\n <li>Experience in the Industrial market, and specifically process and manufacturing, is strongly encouraged and will be considered in our evaluation of the candidate.</li>\n <li>Experience with EPC and/or Design-Build projects.</li>\n <li>Must possess superior communication and interpersonal (facilitation, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why JP Cullen?</h2>\n<p>JP Cullen, a Wisconsin-based $900 million plus, 134-year-old, 5th generation family-owned construction management firm, is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager for our Industrial Division. Our Industrial Division focuses on a variety of construction variety of markets including Food & Beverage, Power & Energy, Chemical and General Manufacturing. This position would be located in one of our regional offices in Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee Wisconsin and would oversee projects and interact with team members across all of our service areas nation-wide.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A Senior Preconstruction Manager has primary responsibility for managing the preconstruction phase for our Industrial Division’s most challenging projects, as well as leading and growing other team members to successfully execute work under their supervision.
