          "text": "<p><strong>WHAT’S THE JOB?</strong></p><p>The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of public and common areas at a world‑class Dexterra camp facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents, staff, and visitors.</p><p>As the site grows from approximately 500 occupants to more than 4,000, Janitors play a critical role in supporting high‑traffic areas and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work as part of a team dedicated to upholding Dexterra’s cleanliness and safety standards.</p><p><strong>YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE</strong></p><ul><li>Cleaning and sanitizing public and common areas, including:<ul><li>Lobbies and entryways</li><li>Hallways and stairwells</li><li>Washrooms and shower facilities</li><li>Recreation rooms, offices, and shared spaces</li></ul></li><li>Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot‑cleaning floors and surfaces</li><li>Disinfecting high‑touch points such as door handles, railings, switches, and counters</li><li>Emptying garbage and recycling from public areas and disposing of waste properly</li><li>Restocking washroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap)</li><li>Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as required</li><li>Maintaining janitorial equipment, carts, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner</li><li>Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor</li><li>Following all safety procedures at all times</li></ul><p>Assisting with additional janitorial or housekeeping duties as assigned</p>",
