As a Barista you will be taking orders, preparing and serving hot and cold beverages with exceptionally trained skill, and serving select food items to our guests. In this role you will educate guests on the drink menu, make recommendations based on the customer's preferences, and up-sell special menu items. The ideal barista loves to engage with their coworkers and customers. </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties/Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages to guests, such as:  coffee, and tea; correctly customizes orders as requested.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Describes product details to guests when requested.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Receives and processes guest payments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serves prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, muffins, or bagels.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating components by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Stocks supplies or retail products; may be required to manage inventory orders, or receive products as directed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs other related duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills/Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to perform basic math.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to serve guests quickly, efficiently, and kindly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Reliable method of transportation </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Worked as a Barista or in food service is a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High School students welcome</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures is a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be available to work either early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Additional Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47); font-size: 12pt\">Must have availability </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Hourly Rate &amp; Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47); font-size: 12pt\">$12.00 Hourly + Tips ($7-$12 in addition hourly)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47); font-size: 12pt\">We're all about creating a kind, supportive, and fun workplace.
