          "text": "<p>Westgate Resorts is seeking an experienced <strong>Property Controller</strong> to lead all accounting functions for our resort properties, including <strong>Rooms Division, Food &amp; Beverage (F&amp;B), and Retail operations</strong>.</p><p>In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with resort leadership and corporate accounting to ensure <strong>accurate financial reporting, asset protection, and operational efficiency</strong>. This position plays a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making at the property level.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all accounting functions for resort operations, F&amp;B, and retail</li><li>Maintain accuracy of general ledger, financial statements, and reconciliations</li><li>Partner with Corporate Accounting on month-end close and reporting</li><li>Review and present monthly P&amp;L statements and variance analysis</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls</li><li>Oversee daily financial reporting and accuracy</li><li>Reconcile cash, bank deposits, POS transactions, and credit card activity</li><li>Safeguard company assets and investigate discrepancies</li><li>Participate in daily operations and leadership meetings</li><li>Support departments with financial guidance and decision-making</li><li>Review AP, payroll expense allocations, and financial reports</li><li>Analyze labor, occupancy, and F&amp;B performance metrics</li><li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and revenue tracking</li><li>Conduct cash audits and inventory reviews</li><li>Manage accounts receivable aging and collections oversight</li><li>Support forecasting and trend analysis for operational planning</li><li>Assist in developing annual operating and capital budgets</li><li>Provide financial insights to drive cost savings and revenue growth</li><li>Support HOA/POA financial reporting and compliance requirements</li><li>Participate in annual audits and owner reporting</li><li>Supervise and develop property accounting staff</li><li>Provide training, coaching, and performance management</li><li>Partner with department leaders to improve financial literacy and accountability</li></ul>",
