This is your opportunity! Join now!\n\n Job Summary \n\nWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and operations across multiple subsystems. This is a hands on role that requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to lead projects and work independently in a task oriented, schedule driven environment.\n\n This is a represented salaried position with the IBEW Union. \n\n Principal Duties and Responsibilities: \n\n Research, design, develop, test, and oversee system administration responsibilities for network applications supporting customer network security requirements.\n Works directly with system administration and IT security teams to monitor and implement IT security principles and requirements.\n Advises management and technical teams on IT security principles and applications. Support system audits as required by industry security standards.\n\n Requirements\n\n Required Minimum Education: \n\n A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or other related degree.\n\n Required Years of Experience: \n\n A minimum of five years relevant experience and Sec+, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP.\n\n Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.: \n\n Experienced with performing patch and vulnerability management.\n Experienced with troubleshooting applications and end user device issues, servers, and databases.\n Familiar with networking concepts to include, but not limited to, VLANs, firewalls, subnets, DNS, and IPv4.\n Familiar with Azure/AWS/Google cloud computing concepts.\n Experience with device configuration and installations such as desktops, servers, DC’s, PDU’s, UPS, etc.\n Experience working with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow.\n Familiar with automation tools.\n Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a NASA background investigation\n Must be able to pass initial and random drug testing\n Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations\n Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, and Linux\n Experience with SIEM, and flaw remediation tools.\n Excellent customer service skills\n Experience troubleshooting network related issues\n Excellent oral and written communication skills\n Works under general supervision\n\n Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.: \n\n CompTIA: Network+; Security+\n Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification (or 8140)\n Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications\n Azure/AWS certifications\n CCNA/Juniper certifications\n\n Benefits\n\n What we offer: \n\n Competitive salaries\n Education and professional development assistance\n Multiple healthcare benefit packages & 24/7 virtual on demand doctors’ visits\n 401K\n Civic Leave – time off to support your favorite charity or community\n Paid time off for personal leave and holidays"
