    "description": "<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Plumber will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of plumbing systems and associated processes.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Regular attendance at assigned location; may include A/Z office or other project site;</li>\r\n\t<li>Works on systems that include sanitary waste and vent; laboratory/process waste; tempered water; potable and non-potable water; roof drainage;</li>\r\n\t<li>Works with materials that include cast iron; PVC; polypropylene; copper (solder and pro-press);</li>\r\n\t<li>Measure, cut, thread or bend pipe to required angle using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines or pipe-bending machines;</li>\r\n\t<li>Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes or fixtures in structures using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels;</li>\r\n\t<li>Test pipes or fixtures for leaks using various methods;</li>\r\n\t<li>Assemble pipe sections, tubing or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering or brazing equipment;</li>\r\n\t<li>Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances or fixtures using hand or power tools;</li>\r\n\t<li>Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors;</li>\r\n\t<li>Direct helpers or apprentices in appropriate tasks;</li>\r\n\t<li>Read and interpret blueprints, plans or specifications to determine work details or procedures;</li>\r\n\t<li>Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in site housekeeping;</li>\r\n\t<li>Interacts with co-workers in an attentive courteous manner;</li>\r\n\t<li>Additional duties as directed by management.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
