We will work with you to determine the number of hours you can provide direct face-to-face and/or telehealth sessions and attend supervision so we can provide clinical support. You will work as part of a larger clinical team which includes Clinical Teams at each of our two A31 Community Mental Health Clinics located in Yonkers and Peekskill.&nbsp;</p><p>All of our clinicians provide services using a trauma-responsive, whole-person care approach to individuals and families to ensure they receive quality services that best meet their needs. &nbsp;Direct clinical services provided to individuals and families would include: initial evaluations, assessments, and evidenced-based and evidenced-informed treatments - individual, family, and/or group interventions. Our clinical teams currently provide a range of evidenced-based office-based and community-based interventions including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, PCIT, and CPP. Knowledge of or certification in these models would be a plus.&nbsp;</p><p>We would love to discuss what kind of work and clients you are looking to work with and how we can work together!</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Capped at 18 hours&nbsp;</strong>(evenings, weekends and holidays preferred</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties</u></strong></p><p>Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul><li>Conduct initial evaluations and assessments for new or transferred clients and document accordingly.</li><li>Develop clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records.</li><li>Provide evidenced-based or evidenced informed psychotherapy / interventions to an agreed caseload of clients and their families using individual, group, and/or family intervention modes (depending on training and certifications)</li><li>Implements evidenced-based treatments to fidelity, in various settings, including site-based, home, or other community-based settings&nbsp;in Westchester County (as agreed upon hire)</li><li>Ensures the safety of clients and their families by taking immediate action to address safety and well-being threats providing crisis intervention when needed.</li><li>Participates in weekly or bi-weekly clinical supervision (as agreed upon hire). Attend other department or staff meetings as agreed or requested by Supervisor/Director.</li><li>Focuses on respectful engagement of clients and stakeholders, anticipating their needs, providing information and non-clinical support to clients, families, colleagues, community service providers, and others to ensure high client satisfaction.</li><li>Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) connected to the client and maintains records of communications.&nbsp;</li><li>Completes all required paperwork and documentation within agency and stakeholder guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends all job-related agency trainings as directed by Supervisor/Director</li><li>Maintains knowledge and adherence of the NYS Office of Mental Health as it relates to clinical practice.</li><li>Work with socially, economically, culturally, and ethnically diverse groups in a mutually respectful manner using a strength-based and flexible approach</li><li>Supports overall strategic plan of the organization.</li><li>Ability to adhere to our organization&rsquo;s core values and Sanctuary Commitments.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>Key qualifications include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in social work, mental health counselling, marriage and family therapy (i.e. a licensable professional degree)&nbsp;</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Licensed Clinician in NYS: &nbsp;LMSW, LMHC-D, &nbsp;LMFT-D or LCSW&nbsp;</li><li>Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescence, and families and some knowledge of evidenced-based practices and interventions</li><li>Desire to learn and implement trauma-informed care and evidence-based Interventions</li><li>High organizational and time-keeping skill to be able to work autonomously &nbsp;</li><li>Strong computer skills, and ability to learn and work in electronic health record systems</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong clinical insight and ability to directly apply clinical feedback</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)</li><li>Bilingual and bi-cultural candidates strongly encouraged to apply</li><li>Culturally competent and committed to championing equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging&nbsp;</li><li>We are looking to hire clinicians that can provide hours that work best for our clients/families.
