We are seeking a motivated individual to be responsible a variety of general maintenance tasks related to the maintenance and repair of manufacturing plant or machinery in the processing of raw materials for the pet food, pharmaceutical and feed industries.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment under the direction of Maintenance Technicians or Manager<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sharpen blades, clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete parts runs or other errands for maintenance department<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide grounds keeping services, such as landscaping and snow removal<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain various tools and equipment used in the course of work and all shop, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company at the assigned work location</p><p><br></p><p>High school diploma/GED preferred. Must also possess the following skills:</p><p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to follow written and verbal instructions<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respect<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required</p><p><br></p><p>Will be frequently exposed to cool and wet conditions.
