          "text": "<p>The Fastener Solutions Division of Avery Dennison is a worldwide manufacturer of plastic fastening systems used in the automotive, apparel, retail, industrial and packaging industries. Our three-shift injection molding and extrusion operation is located in Fitchburg, MA. The Fastener Solutions Division is ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified.</p><p>The successful Process Technician candidate will ensure that equipment is functioning and operating at top efficiency and quality. This position is a technical role, with responsibilities to include equipment start-ups, monitoring / adjusting machine parameters, assisting in changeovers and handling process and equipment issues.&#xa0; We are looking for candidates aspiring to develop skills in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and corrective action.&#xa0; This role will need to be continually learning and absorbing knowledge from established/senior process technicians and applying what they learn.</p><p><strong>You will work 3rd shift: 10:45pm to 7am, Monday through Friday</strong></p><p>&#xa0;Activities may include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Run and oversee all aspects of the plastic injection molding/ extrusion process, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery.</li><li>Collaborate closely with line inspectors and packers to uphold product quality and meet production goals.</li><li>Use precision instruments to monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, and pressures to maintain adherence to production specifications.</li><li>Configure machines with precision to accommodate varying production needs and ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify product quality according to established procedures.</li><li>Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.</li><li>Maintain accurate production records and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from process standards.</li></ul>",
