Our rental store, the Mountain Adventure Center, is looking for a Bike Mechanic! Our Bike Mechanics are tasked with completing required and preventative maintenance on our full suspension rental bike fleet. Ideal candidates have experience with Rockshox, Fox, and Marzocchi suspensions and can work independently.</p><p></p><h1><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></h1><p></p><ul><li><p>Perform maintenance and repairs on mountain bikes, including hydraulic brake bleeding, suspension servicing, and wheel building.</p></li><li><p>Apply knowledge of various bike types, focusing on full suspension systems.</p></li><li><p>Assist in managing the rental bike fleet, ensuring safety and shop organization.</p></li><li><p>Bleed hydraulic disc brakes</p></li><li><p>Rebuild and service suspension forks and shocks</p></li><li><p>Build and repair bicycle wheels</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Education:</b></h1><p></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or GED</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Preferred Experience:</span></b></h1><p></p><ul><li><p>Previous experience specifically working with Hayes, Avid, Shimano, Formula and Magura Hydraulic Disc Brakes.</p></li><li><p>In order to qualify for the tech 2 position you must have the experience of brake work, suspension, and ability to work on a fork</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b><i>All Information above is subject to change at any time.  </i></b></h3><h3><b><i>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.</i></b></h3><h3><b><i>Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer.</i></b></h3></div></div></div></div>",
