    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Administers occupational therapy treatments to patients working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. This position would be treating Orthopedic, Amputee, Trauma and Brain Injury population.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week with 8 hour days, 1 Weekend day per month&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assessment and Plan of Care/Treatment</li>\n <li>Evaluates patient's occupational performance at discharge according to department policy and procedures.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with the supervising Occupational Therapist on a treatment program based on patient/family needs, goals, strengths, age, abilities, and preferences.&nbsp; Consults with physicians, other rehabilitation team members, patient and family to design a coordinated treatment plan.</li>\n <li>Performs patient treatment through the use of appropriate occupational therapy interventions.</li>\n <li>Re-evaluates patient's physical, cognitive and psychosocial status, in addition to environmental factors, to modify/terminate the treatment program as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Maintains active and supportive communication with patients and others concerned regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.</li>\n <li>Prepares patient for discharge, through instruction of patient and family (caregivers) and written home programs as necessary.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manages schedule to meet departmental productivity expectations using sound clinical and professional reasoning.</li>\n <li>Attends staff meetings, program meetings, and in-services.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate daily billing charges and productivity log.</li>\n <li>Documents evaluations, progress notes, case conference updates, appropriate scores, letters of medical necessity, discharge recommendations, family/patient education, and all other forms in accordance with department policy and procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate, comprehensive, and professional written documentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as may be required from management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.</li>\n <li>Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Florida.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Hands-on BLS Card.</li>\n <li>Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.</li>\n <li>Adheres to policies and procedures specific to patient rights.</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards.
