Join us at Aviva Health and be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients and the community we serve.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Position Purpose:</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Faculty Physician</span> provides primary health care, in a primary health care clinic, serving the low-income, working poor, homeless, and those individuals with barriers to health care, in Douglas County.  The physician assumes the responsibility of routine patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation of injury and/or illness, and ordering of routine exams.  Utilizes skills in providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems including, curative and preventive medical care, health promotion and education, continuing case evaluation and management.  Ensures efficient and effective patient care through collaborative planning and problem-solving with Advanced Practice Providers, clinic staff, and volunteers.  Acts as consultant for and provides guidance for Advanced Practice Providers regarding clinical practice issues. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Commit to training future family physicians to deliver quality health services to patients of diverse cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. You will teach the residents to treat all patients with dignity regardless of the patient’s background.
