          "text": "<p><b>Title: </b><b><span>Agile Coach</span></b></p><p><b>Location: Dallas, TX 76262</b></p><p><b><span>Duration: 12+ months Contract (Possibility of extension)</span></b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b>Description</b></p><p><b>What you&apos;ll do:</b><br /> Client is searching for a highly effective Agile Coach with hands-on experience coaching cross-functional Agile teams in an Enterprise software environment. This role is all about coaching and enabling agile behaviors. Emphasizing Agile values and principles is a key to unlocking our success. As an Agile Coach, you influence all levels of the organization to drive increased agility. You nurture an environment where transparency, speed, quality, and innovation are the focus. You understand that the outcome of your success is seen through the behaviors of others, and provide the kind of coaching necessary to enable this. This role is key to enabling people to understand, learn and behave in an agile way to drive customer and business value while creating a healthy, agile team culture.<br /> <b>Essential Functions:</b><br /> • Embrace servant-leadership and coach teams on Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies<br /> • Help teams create an environment that fosters transparency, learning, innovation, quality and speed<br /> • Help teams assess the overall health of their Agile practices and culture to identify opportunities to improve and provide coaching to improve<br /> • Help teams understand and implement effective metrics on things that impact value driven delivery<br /> • Collaborate with and influence all levels of the organization to empower and enable teams to execute<br /> • Build, deliver and improve customized Agile training<br /> • Work with non-development teams to help drive agile transformation in those teams<br /> • Partners with other Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters across the organization<br /> • Trains and coaches new Development teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Managers in Agile values, principles, practices and the Scrum framework and Kanban principles<br /> • Responsible for the growth of new and existing Scrum Masters<br /> • Mentors and guides multiple teams on a day-to-day basis<br /> • Helps identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation and works with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them<br /> • Organizes workshops that help promote Agile maturity across the organization<br /> • Communicates well with teams and leaders of the organization, good listening skills, asking questions and giving feedback<br /> • Ensures Agile/Scrum/Kanban concepts, values and principles are adhered to, being a voice of reason and authority<br /> • Enthusiastic and maintains a positive, high-energy attitude<br /> • Continually grows his/her craft learning new tools and techniques<br /> • Able to handle conflict resolution well, facilitating discussion and alternatives of different approaches<br /> • Coaches teams and the organization to achieve self-organization team accountability<br /> • Coaches teams and the organization on how to identify and burn down technical debt<br /> • Coaches teams and the organization on how to bring disclosure and transparency to the business and grows business trust<br /> <br /> <b>Required </b></p><p>• Bachelors degree required </p><p>• 5-10+ years prior experience in an Agile Coach role helping teams efficiently deliver software </p><p>• Adaptive coaching style and the ability to work hands-on with teams in an advisor role </p><p>• A proven track record with continuous value delivery in an Enterprise environment </p><p>• Demonstrate a strong knack for identifying waste and helping teams devise streamlined solutions </p><p>• Show us you are constantly learning and improving your skills and capabilities in Agile </p><p>• Possess a deep understanding of Agile with hands on experience in Scum as well as other Agile methodologies - such as Kanban, Lean or eXtreme Programming </p><p>• Experience developing solutions for and adoption of continuous delivery concepts and techniques </p><p>• A strong understanding of organizational dynamics in a large Enterprise environment </p><p>• Experience in code refactoring, simple design principles and continuous integration </p><p>• Experience in training, coaching and mentoring new Agile/Scrum teams </p><p>• Experience in creating Agile training / workshop material </p><p>• Experience working with large, small, remote and collocated Scrum teams </p><p>• In depth understanding of Agile values, principles and the Scrum framework.
