Operating from state-of-the-art, FDA-inspected facilities in Chandler and Deer Valley, Arizona, Medivant is committed to excellence, compliance, and innovation in every aspect of sterile manufacturing.</p><h2><strong>Position Summary</strong></h2><p>The Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee will support the preparation, labeling, and packaging of sterile injectable products in accordance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and USP &lt;797&gt;/&lt;800&gt; standards. This role works under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and production management to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of medications.<br><strong>Freshers and candidates with no prior compounding experience will receive comprehensive training.</strong></p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Assist in the preparation and aseptic compounding of sterile injectable medications following cGMP and USP &lt;797&gt;/&lt;800&gt; guidelines (training provided for trainees/freshers).</li><li>Maintain cleanroom compliance, including proper gowning, sanitization, environmental monitoring, and adherence to aseptic behavior.</li><li>Accurately label, package, and document finished products in accordance with batch records and SOPs.</li><li>Support equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and calibration activities as required.</li><li>Participate in visual inspection, lot reconciliation, and inventory management tasks.</li><li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and all documentation requirements.</li><li>Assist pharmacists and supervisors in workflow efficiency, process improvement, and quality initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, USP, and internal quality standards at all times.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><h3><strong>For Trainees &amp; Freshers:</strong></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED).</li><li>Willingness to learn sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and cleanroom protocols.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.</li></ul><h3><strong>For Experienced Candidates:</strong></h3><ul><li>Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (or eligibility to obtain).</li><li>6 months&ndash;1 year of experience in a pharmacy, compounding lab, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with aseptic technique and cGMP documentation practices.</li></ul><h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>National PTCB certification (CPhT).</li><li>Experience in sterile injectable manufacturing, hospital cleanrooms, or 503B outsourcing facilities.</li><li>Working knowledge of USP &lt;797&gt; and &lt;800&gt; requirements.</li></ul><h2>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</h2><p>Full-time, onsite position in controlled cleanroom environments located in Chandler and Deer Valley, Arizona.
