The Future We Build Together.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li><p>One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid forklift operator's license certified</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Effective leadership skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work independently and as a member of a team</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs work independently with minimal supervision</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent organizational skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs work independently with minimal supervision</p></li>\n <li><p>Proactively approaches responsibilities</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintains composure under pressure</p></li>\n <li><p>Working using health and safety methods</p></li>\n <li><p>Bilingual (For Québec locations only)</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge or and experience with an RF scanner advanced required</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.</li>\n <li>Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.</li>\n <li>Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.</li>\n <li>Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.</li>\n <li>Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.</li>\n <li>Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.</li>\n <li>Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).</li>\n <li>Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.</li>\n <li><p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>  </em><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
