Duties may include welding, carpentry, electric, pipe fitting, and plumbing repairs as necessary. Working from plans, sketches, or design.&nbsp; Constructs equipment for plant use.&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Include, but are not limited to, the following:</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Installs power supply, wiring, and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment; connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery, buzzer, and oscilloscope.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and conducts repairs.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Tests and/or observes malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with operator and/or manufacturers to diagnose issues.
