    "description": "<p><span>William Grant Tank &amp;Vessel, Inc. is currently looking to hire experienced pressure fitter/welder to join our production team.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Essential job duties</span></span><span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Reads and analyzes drawings</span></li>\n<li><span>Adheres to all applicable governing codes (ASME), customer specifications, and company procedures</span></li>\n<li><span>Holds, positions and reads tape measure to assemble units, templates and small parts </span></li>\n<li><span>Welds various types of metals and alloys in vertical, horizontal and overhead positions for high pressure and strength requirement </span></li>\n<li><span>Sets up and operates welding machines and places and moves blocking braces and templates to hold parts </span></li>\n<li><span>Grinds rough edges, surplus weld, or scale according to blueprints, shop drawings and oral instructions </span></li>\n<li><span>Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. Performs other routine maintenance duties</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications</span></span><span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Proven experience fitting and welding pressurized vessels</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to do mathematical calculations, especially trigonometry </span></li>\n<li><span>Proficient using cutting or plasma torch</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience using a variety of electrical and manual tools, welding equipment and procedures (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW)</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficient in English</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong team building and decision-making</span></li>\n<li><span>High attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Physical Requirements</span></span><span>:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, medium work, visual acuity</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Benefits include health and dental insurance, supplemental insurance, Simple IRA retirement </span><span>with company match, sick, vacation, and paid holidays. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Apply online at: <a href=\"http://www.wgt-v.com/careers/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http://www.wgt-v.com/careers/</a>.
