Understanding basic product categories to help answer customer questions by recommending the appropriate items to complete customers projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Outcomes for Success</strong></p><ul><li>Answer customers’ questions on products and assist with selection of products for their project.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.</li><li>Establish relationships with potential clients and assess their requirements to offer tailored solutions.</li><li>Have a good knowledge of our product offerings and assist customers with small project estimates. Work to upsell by adding additional lines to each ticket.</li><li>Process customers’ orders.</li><li>Process payments and returns. Assist sales team members with larger quotes and estimates as directed.</li><li>Work with inside sales to contact and increase sales to existing house accounts.</li><li>Keep the showroom, samples, and literature clean and current.</li><li>Stock shelves with incoming merchandise for store products, maintain assigned areas.</li><li>Assist with store cycle counts and inventories. Help keep system information accurate.</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.</li><li>Assist with customer challenges, such as credits, returns, exchanges, and service problems.</li><li>Working knowledge of all products we can supply to customers.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction methods.</li><li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Benefits are an important part of overall compensation.
