This is a role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, someone who would rather be on their feet creating, shaping, and perfecting than sitting behind a desk.</p><p data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"787\">In this position, you&rsquo;ll transform raw materials into finished products using tools, equipment, and skill. Every cut, seam, and finish reflects your attention to detail and the pride you take in your work. What you build doesn&rsquo;t just stay in the shop, it ends up in homes and businesses, seen and used every day.</p><p data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"996\">If you enjoy hands-on work, like seeing the results of your effort, and want to be part of a team that values quality, accountability, and craftsmanship, Lakeside Surfaces is where you can build your future.</p><p><strong>SUMMARY<br></strong>This position is to specialize in fabricating solid surface (Corian) countertop materials where a significant amount of hand fabrication is required. &nbsp;Many applications will require wood backers be designed and built by the fabricator to support the project after installation. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Read and interpret plans and blueprints to produce solid surface countertops within tolerances and specifications</li><li>Operate power saws, routers, and hand tools of various sizes</li><li>Sand and polish countertops with skill and finesse</li><li>Use glues and caulks to join seams and parts</li><li>Physically lift and move substantial parts</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Great creativity and problem-solving skills</li><li>Great time management skills</li><li>Strong math skills</li><li>Self-Starter</li><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Works well in a teamwork environment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>1-3 years fabrication/building experience</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts</li><li>Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to follow all safety requirements</li><li>Ability to use measuring tools</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
