We are determined above all else, as we are on a relentless quest to make our community stronger, beginning with you.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>The Site Coordinator is responsible for leading the daily operations of a high-quality before- or after-school program. This role ensures a physically and emotionally safe environment, builds relationships with students, families, and school staff, and provides direct supervision to site staff.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and supervise daily program activities including academic support, character development, arts, STEM, and super service.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain compliance with state regulations, YMCA policies, and safety protocols.&nbsp;</li><li>Foster strong communication with families and school personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform regular site inspections and drills.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct performance reviews for site staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate records including attendance, supply requests, and program documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend all required trainings and staff meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Support YMCA special events such but not limited to Healthy Kids Day and the Christmas Parade. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>3 years of experience working with school-aged children in educational or youth development settings.&nbsp;</li><li>Completion of 72 quarter or 48 semester college units or passing scores on the NCLB exam.&nbsp;</li><li>1+ years of staff supervision experience required.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have reliable transportation and availability for assigned shifts.&nbsp;</li><li>CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required within 30 days of hire.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>YMCA Competencies:</strong></p><p><strong><em><u>Mission Advancement</u></em></strong><strong><em>:</em></strong> Reinforces the Ys values within the organization and the community.
