    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>Fortinet is&nbsp;recruiting a Senior IT Specialist to join our FortiStack team based out of Burnaby, BC. This team is responsible for the management, operation and continued development of our Openstack-based private cloud platform. This position would represent a great fit for IT professionals with heavy experience in Linux Administration, Datacenter Virtualization, and supporting large-scale Production environments.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>As a Senior IT Specialist, you will:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Deploy and operate an&nbsp;<strong>OpenStack-based private cloud,</strong> including implementing measures to secure and protect data.</span></li>\n <li><span>Administer&nbsp;<strong>Linux servers</strong> (Ubuntu/Red Hat/CentOS).</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitor key performance metrics for servers, VMs, applications, and networks.</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify, document, and track software defects discovered during testing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop, maintain, and execute tools and scripts to enable&nbsp;<strong>automation and self-service solutions.</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Drive&nbsp;<strong>continuous improvement</strong> by seeking opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency within the cloud environment.</span></li>\n <li><span>Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, both independently and collaboratively as part of the broader team.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide technical leadership by&nbsp;<strong>sharing knowledge and best practices</strong> across teams and peers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in&nbsp;<strong>on-call support</strong> as required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>We Are&nbsp;Looking for:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>5+ years of experience in production platform operation</span></li>\n <li><span>A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Intermediate-Level Experience in Linux server administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge in server virtualization (KVM / VMware)</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge in network administration and industry standard protocols</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge in network, server and system monitoring (Zabbix, SNMP, Syslog.)</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge of deployment automation (Ansible)</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent ability to organize, multitask, work individually and in a team</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Good to Have:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Knowledge in Openstack administration</span></li>\n <li><span>Certification in RHCSA or RHCE</span></li>\n <li><span>Certification in Openstack</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $84,000 - $110,000 annually.&nbsp; Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.&nbsp; Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
