    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Part-Time Faculty, under the supervision of the Program and Associate Program Directors, has the responsibilities for the management and evaluation of the program’s academic and clinical components. Working in close association with the Academic and Clinical Faculty, the faculty member will work twenty - twenty-nine hours per week and weekly on-site presence is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Accreditation:Assists the Academic/ Clinical Coordinator with the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain accreditation by coordinating the efforts of the PA Program to meet and/or exceed the standards for accreditation (ARC-PA)</li>\n   <li>Maintain IL State Education Dept. (SED) registration of the PA Program by keeping the Program in compliance with the regulations of the Commissioner of Education.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Teaching:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Instruct first, second, and culminating year students in the following:</li>\n   <li>Physical Diagnosis Lab Instructor</li>\n   <li>Correlative Medicine/Clinical Skills Instructor</li>\n   <li>Instructor- Procedures</li>\n   <li>Lecturing in area of expertise</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Advisement - first year, second, and culminating year students</li>\n <li>Master’s capstone advisor -reviewing and grading Master’s projects</li>\n <li>Curriculum:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Review academic/ clinical curricular content for appropriateness to PA practice</li>\n   <li>Monitor evaluation of learning objectives, ensure consistent with current best practice</li>\n   <li>Create and review academic and clinical exams</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Committee Service: Will participate on appropriate committees (as schedule allows) as requested by the Program Director/Program Chairs</li>\n <li>Participates in reaccreditation and program evaluation activities as deemed appropriate by the Program Director.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Education/ Experience</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science required</li>\n <li>MS in Physician Assistant Studies preferred</li>\n <li>National Commission Cert of Physician Assistants required</li>\n <li>\n  <ul></ul><p>Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required</li>\n <li>Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues required</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook required</li>\n <li>Exceptional analytical, problem solving skills, collaboration, and matrix management skills required</li>\n <li>Ability to deliver online course content.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $50,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $40,000.00/Yr.",
