All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p><u>Duties, Responsibilities & Other: </u></p>\n<p><strong>This position is for an underground foreman with a minimum of 4-8 years of underground experience in open trench.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with construction manager for in-field project set up</li>\n <li>Lead and direct 4-man crew to safely complete projects.</li>\n <li>Select and implement appropriate maintenance of traffic signage and follow safety precautions.</li>\n <li>Identify potential safety hazards. Create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.</li>\n <li>Administer monthly safety meetings.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Understand as-built drawings, roadway plans, and create legible field sketches.</li>\n <li>Possess leadership and mentoring skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.</li>\n <li>Must have a mechanical aptitude.</li>\n <li>Experience placing underground cable a plus.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Candidate Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Know Miss Utility Law.</li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years of underground excavation and shoring experience.</li>\n <li>Operate and maintain mini excavators.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation within 30 days. Having a current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.</li>\n <li>OSHA certification a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. </em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Skills Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Skills Preferred: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highschool Diploma/GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain required certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
