Our uniquely innovative containers maintain the cold chain, preventing shipments being spoiled or delayed, and delivering temperature sensitive products to patients on time and to help save lives.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>To support our ongoing growth, we are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Madrid site (formerly Exeltainer).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description and Responsibility:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p><span>The Maintenance Technician ensures the optimal operation of equipment and facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical failures, and ensuring the company’s operational safety and efficiency, as well as its facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and adjusting machinery, complying with safety protocols, and coordinating tasks to minimize downtime and extend the useful life of assets.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machinery. </span></li>\n<li><span>Oversee the overall condition of facilities (electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems) and ensure proper maintenance, including both interior and exterior areas. </span></li>\n<li><span>Install and configure new equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span>Track and report departmental KPIs. </span></li>\n<li><span>Perform maintenance on doors and loading ramps. </span></li>\n<li><span>Perform maintenance and inspections of fire extinguishers. </span></li>\n<li><span>Detect and resolve equipment failures quickly and effectively. </span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain records of maintenance activities, replaced parts, and repair times. </span></li>\n<li><span>Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs. </span></li>\n<li><span>Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools. </span></li>\n<li><span>Develop and manage the maintenance budget. </span></li>\n<li><span>Request and evaluate quotes when necessary. </span></li>\n<li><span>Propose technical improvements to optimize processes and reduce downtime and/or costs. </span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations. </span></li>\n<li><span>Enforce safety standards and 5S practices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span>Requirements:</span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Technical education or training in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical fields. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Solid experience (5+ years) in corrective and preventive maintenance of machinery, as well as team and vendor management. </span></span></li>\n<li><span>Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanics, plumbing, automation, and sector-specific equipment and facilities. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Experience in planning and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. </span></span></li>\n<li><span>Experience managing KPIs, cost control, and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and diagrams. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. </span></span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of safety regulations and quality protocols. </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to motivate, plan, prioritize tasks, and manage teams effectively. </span></li>\n<li><span>Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues under pressure. </span></li>\n<li><span>Management style that aligns with the company’s high-integrity culture across all areas of internal and external operations. </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to coordinate effectively with other departments and key stakeholders. </span></li>\n<li><span>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work positively and collaboratively with others. </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to plan, manage, and execute multiple projects from concept through completion. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>English proficiency at C1 level is required. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Forklift License </span></span></li>\n<li><span>Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.</span></li>\n<li>Occasional travel to supplier locations and group production plants may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please note that we can only accept applications from people who have employment rights in Spain.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Cold Chain Technologies is committed to Equal Opportunities in employment and service delivery.  The policies and practices of the Company aim to promote an environment that is free from all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination and values the diversity of all people.</p>",
